The 2025 Lake Brunner Classic Boat Show was a stunning celebration of New Zealand’s boating heritage, held over the weekend of 10–12 October 2025 on the West Coast’s largest lake. Dozens of beautifully restored launches, runabouts, and wooden classics took to the water, bringing together enthusiasts from across Aotearoa for a weekend of craftsmanship, community, and classic design.
Proudly sponsored by Nautical Insurance, New Zealand’s specialist boat insurance provider, the event highlighted the importance of protecting your vessel — whether it’s a vintage wooden launch or a modern trailer boat. With so many valuable and irreplaceable classics on display, the message was clear: having the right boat insurance gives Kiwi boat owners confidence on every cruise, show, and journey.
