We receive a variety of claims both when Boats are on and off the water. These include:-
- Collisions between vessels
- Road accidents.
- Water immersion
- Theft of auxiliaries, echo sounders and other gear. As mentioned earlier, auxiliaries need to be padlocked on or stored in your boot or garage when not in use
- Trailer accidents – wheel bearings, rollers and axles should be checked. The policy does not cover maintenance and mechanical or wear and tear damage.
- Propellers and hulls hitting submerged objects.
- Third Party damage.
- Launching and landing mishaps.
- Unusual losses such as damage by animals when on land.
